The Special Education Support Center is funded by the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Instruction - providing information and support to families, educators and community members who have an interest in locating and understanding special education services - through a contract to a partnership established by the Washington Education Association.
Learning Options consulted with the grantee to develop the initial networking plan and subcontracted with GreenRiver.org to develop the initial website design. Through a continuing contract, Learning Options consults with the grantee to revise the networking plan, develop specification for continuing upgrades, and provide training and technical support to the Project Staff, the Partners Advisory Team, and the IEP Facilitators; and through a sub-contracting arrangements provides liaison to the programming team.
