Washoe School Disrict: School Improvement

Learning Options, in partnership with GreenRiver.org, is developed this website for the Washoe County School District (Reno, NV) in support of their efforts to make school improvement more continuous and job-embedded. 

The WashoeSIP.org website supports:

• Online revision and submission of improvement plans
• Continuous monitoring & articulation of action plans
• Continuous evaluation & revision of individual action steps
• Facilitation of job-embedded professional development
• More thorough mid- and end-of-year reviews
• More timely district response to needs & barriers
• Integrated calendars (Professional Development & Parent Involvement)
• Increased transparency/reporting of school improvement efforts
